I think he should be punished for what he did to the puppy!

This is disrespect to our country!

He is supposedly saving lives in Iraq. If he throws pupies off cliffs do you think he is saving very many lives? Do you think it very safe for him to be walking around Iraqi city streets with a gun? He discraces the name of an American Soldiers. That name is for soldiers who go to fight for thier country and risk thier lives every day.

Just to clarify for everyone...not that this is important but it's kind of a pet peave of those in the service...soldiers are members of the army and only the army. People in the U.S. Marine Corps will be the first to tell you that they are not soldiers, they're marines.

I say this only because as a soldier I'm all too proud to say I am NOT a marine. If this guy is part of the few and the proud, I'm glad to declare that I'm not.

Cheers,

2nd Lieutenant Anthony Soika

you got to remember that this is just one marine. I'm a seabee, I'm sure you know what that is, and i've met plenty of marines that are great people. what irritates me is what the media puts out is what we are portrayed as, and this guy deffiantely made people think the military is full of cruel animal killers, which it isn't. its unfortuanate that people like this are who end up representing people like you and me.

Oh I agree. And don't even get me started on the stupid media and their bias on anything and everything.

But I still marines are 3 cans short of a 6-pack.

Soldiers are only 2 cans short.

:-)

Mandy, Believe me, I'm not blameing all Marines for the actions of a few a__holes. I'm all for the Marines and think they are GREAT and are doing a great job in Iraq. I hope you did'nt take what I said wrong.

it's not only what the media puts out , it is also the actions of alot of marines ,even when on american soil. i live just south of a marine base and we constantly have problems with marines here. ( not all , and i know some great marines ) but when our soldiers from Ft.Bragg come here, we never have problems with them. i have had some o f my marine friends tell me that it's the ideals that they are the elite forces that makes them think they are better than anyone else. which they are not. we are all just humans, no one better than the other. i'm not bashing the militatry, my brother is military (army) and my father fought in vietnam.
but lets not lose sight of the important thing here and that is the life that was taken at the hands of someone who is supposed to be protecting life. we need to let our politicians know that we will not stand for this, and if it is an embarrasment to the marines they should do something about it. after all he is representing them! unfortunately the media never puts out good stories about anybody serving our country. and we shouldn't stand for that either!

To me it has little to do with whether "life was taken at the hands of someone who is supposed to be protecting life." Call me narrow-minded, call me a bully, but someone hurt a defenseless puppy and that alone calls for having your ___ kicked from now to kingdom come. Anything beyond that is just politics.

you are 100% right, i think it pisses me off even more because what this wimp is supposed to stand for. and i don't really think politics will do sh*t here, he needs a good old fashioned as* beating, and then some more just for kicks! i'd be the first in line for it too. i think we all would fight to be in that line first. i hope that puppies spirit tortures him in his nitemares.
