Thanks to everyone who contacted us about the video clip recently seen all over the Web, where a member of the United States Military can be seen apparently committing a heinous act of animal cruelty, flinging a puppy off a cliff.

If anyone can read please tell me what post I stated I was 22? I am older then that and never posted my age. The problem in here is no one can read a post fully. If you could you would see I have never attacked anyone until I was attacked.

I have always stated I disagree with so and so and then it is taken as a personal attack.

That my friends is a pure sign of immaturity at its worst. When I am attacked I attack back and if you had any common sense you would go back and re read my posts to people and you will see I come out kicking when I am attacked.

Again child leave if you want or get smart and add some insight to the forum. If not go and move on because frankly this is getting too old listening to the ones that cant read or cant take a person's thoughts and put them into perspective. Speaking as an 18-year veteran and current military leader I don't buy this. The "temporary insanity" plea doesn't hold much merit when it comes to killing (if it was lucky) or maiming a defenseless puppy. That's right up there with raping a kid in my book. This marine wasn't insane or psychologically disabled, he was a thug. And while it takes a certain mentality to be able to kill for a living, nobody should be disillusioned enough to allow this guy to blame Post Traumatic Stress Disorder for his act. More people died just from murder in 2003 in the state of California than in all of the Iraq war (*this is accurate up to Labor Day 2007 when I looked it up) and yet the media isn't all over every single murder every day, or keeping a running tally to show what a mistake it is to have Americans in California. Don't let this piece of human dung get away with excuses for his act because there is none.

I never said he should get away with excuses, but mental disabilities have erupted from wars. I have many family members who were in Vietnam and they are NOT normal anymore. They think differently then a normal person. Yes he should go punished but that's for no one to decide. NO ONE. Does no one watch the news on how many Marines/Military personnel bring home animals to the U.S.? No one sees the good that people do, it's always the bad. It's the media. I'm not saying what he did was right, at all by any means. But he could have been a good person gone astray. Everyone has made mistakes in life, and if someone thinks they are OF HIGH ENOUGH POWER to choose his punishment, or judge him in anyway. Is just retarded. Like I said and everyone could refer to, my judging comment before this one. If you have not been in a war, not currently in a war, or know someone on a personal basis from a war... NOT EVERYONE, comes out OKAY. So this guy shouldn't make excuses, so what's the excuse for a dog randomly biting a person? For no reason? NO PERSON, NO ANIMAL, NO ANYTHING... Has reasons. Stuff happens. Everyone needs to move on, and help the animals that are still alive and can be helped.

We all see the good as well as the bad that happens. No one is denying there is good being done. Again why is the point being missed? The point is all the good in the world doesn’t make what he and his friends did right. He does need to be punished.

Are you too liberal that you would rather a killer being let loose in society because you are so against punishment? Would you rather have yourself or a loved one killed by a junkie just because you are against the death penalty?

My God what is this world coming to when we can’t even punish the evil? God made us in his image so it is said and made us with a brain to reason and judge and act accordingly. When someone strays from that path he needs to be punished and that is why God put us here and created the power in us to create laws. Hello you bible thumping people. My father who has been on and off life support for a year now from a SPIDER BITE. That is why I am bible thumping. Should I go kill the spider? Or is that okay? Let's say, WHAT IF... it was a dog that did that to my father, would it be okay for me to kill that dog? Or is that against animal rights? Don't question my love for God you pathetic person. And another thing, please... I dare you, go on to a military base with your protests- try and speak to higher-ups... because I can tell you this, you bring media and questions to a base... and you will be arrested or asked to leave politely. You are a civilian, you didn't sign your life away to die for your country. YES, That is what military people do... when they sign that paper, they are risking their lives until their time is up, for better or worse.

As far as your dad and the putting down of animals. We have had to put many animals down even if it wasn’t their fault when they bit or scratched some brat that thought it was cute to torment them. Do not even get me started on who should be put down the brat that stuck a firecracker up some poor cats ass or the cat that scratched the morons eye out.

Lastly who ever said storm the base protesting? Can you read? I said we have an appointment to talk. Not protest. I said the news was the next stop not that they were coming. God help us all from the ones that can’t read.

Tony I have to agree with you on this one. As an off topic I would love to converse with you privately about your thoughts on Charles Manson and his followers as well as some other cleaver ones that have over time used that plea to get over on the court system.

But back to the puppy and this mentally unstable one...we need to keep this up and hound them with letters and calls and emails. I am planning to take a trip in a week or so to HI and I will alongside others will be stopping on the base as well as the newspapers and television stations regarding this issue. Some of the people in the group I belong to have family as well as friends on and off that base and we have an appointment to meet and question the powers at be on their home turf.

I will be returning and bringing the news back so I may be off here for 2 or 3 weeks while I am there. If anyone has letters and or thoughts they want us to bring with us contact me PM and I will give you my private email and print and take with me to read and show.

you know that many peopkle are getting off the subject of this innocent dog getting thrown to its geath. its a horrable thing. everybody has there own opinion and they are all basically the same - he should be punished for what he did and needs to be punished if he hasnt already been- so everybody can quit beating each other down thinks that hey have the right to put some one else down. so why dont we just stay on the subject at hand and quit cjanging th subject to bible thumping or what ever was saids..............
