Thanks to everyone who contacted us about the video clip recently seen all over the Web, where a member of the United States Military can be seen apparently committing a heinous act of animal cruelty, flinging a puppy off a cliff.

We understand your outrage. Please click here to view our response. We invite and encourage you to share this link with your friends who are concerned about the upsetting incident.

Michael you are the bigger person in here. I am not nor have ever been offended by your words. As a fellow NY'er I too speak my mind. As a military brat and former NY Police officer I too have had to explain to my now 21 year old the right and wrong way to handle a gun and its purpose.

As far as the closed minded people in here I will not speak for them or to them. I will not change my posts should I read some thing I don’t agree with I will still say " I have to disagree with you" and go on with why I feel as I do. If people can’t handle that then they should not post at all. My posts are not to strike discord they are to strike some nerves to hopefully wake people up from their "Sheep led to slaughter" mentally.
If I see a post I agree with I will say "I have to agree or I hate to agree with you on this".

Again I will not fight with anyone. I will not apologize for stepping on someone’s comfort zone. I will say if your insecure with your logic then by all means do not post because I am others will post our thoughts as is our rights. So suck it up as I do and take it as the adults that we should be by now. Bottom line is animals come before your feelings in my book. Deal with it or move on. Either way its up to you not me.

On another note if anyone has letters or something to say get it together and send me those so we may present them to the base commander and the congressmen and women that are going with us. As well as the news stations.

amen, micheal, and i too have apologized before and will do it again, because i never mean to offend anyone, i have a brother in irag and a father who fought in vietnam, and i live very close to an army base and a marine base (or is it a camp?) whatever.. but i have seen both sides as well, and i have seen horrors in all walks of life, but i have seen alot of good ( most recently, just yesterday when a poor osprey was hit by a car on a highway, most people just drove past, but a few stopped and helped the bird and got him the care needed to save him) things like that make it all worthwhile, i know.... way off base as far as what this is about , but sometimes it's good for the soul to hear a positive instead of all the negative :) and i can accept your olive branch here micheal, and i can apologize as well for being offensive to anyone, we are entitled to our opinions and that is what makes us americans , it is as i stated before it is our passions that sometimes get us soo riled up , and if we could harness that passion and really put it to work, man would we get a whole lot more accomplished!!!! i am a NY"er who has very recently found myself in the south and my NY mind set, of speaking my mind sometimes offends my new southern neighbors, i just tend to speak my mind.
so i would be proud to stay in this fight for animals rights and welfare with you micheal and i ask you to accept my apology as well and anyone else i maybe owe one to, debi

PLEASE INVESTIGATE THIS, " REAL " OR NOT, THIS PERSON AND HIS VIDEO ARE SICK, AND TO EVEN THINK OF SOMETHING LIKE THIS IS SO DISGUSTING , HE DESERVES TO BE PUNISHED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW!!!!!!!

I thought Marines jobs were to protect all, not throw little defenceless puppies off cliffs?! I hope they kick him out of the Marines for that! It's a law you don't treat animals cruely, you can go to jail for it. I hope he ends up in jail. What is wrong with him that he would do that to a puppy? Seriously, the puppy didn't do anything to him. He is not a Marine as far as I am concerned, he is a piece of crap. He doesn't have the honor to deserve the title Marine, no matter weather he served in Iraq or not. You don't throw a puppy off a cliff.

No you dont have the right Amanisha. That is why we need everyone to pressure their congressmen and women as well as their senitors to get the military to open up and allow the public to see and know what is going on.

The sad fact is the public is keptg in the dark and we still do not know what if anything was done to this sicko by the hands of the military. Was he dishonorably discharged or was he let go if at all? Nothing. ALl we do know is they stated they are hiding him and by doing that they are covering up for him.

Some of us hope in the next few weeks to have answers to some of these questions. We really dont hold any hope of us being able to get anywhere but we will be pushing never the less and with more state's representatives coming with us to confront these people for answers for the public's piece of mind, we are hopeful if nothing else that we make enough noise to rattle their cages.

Hey Tia D,
How can we keep the pressure up so that the 'walking talking piece of crap' doesn't just get away with his crime?

Renee says "The latest and the greatest is he received 90 days restriction as punishment. (that isn't from the military but from civilian sources) So take it as you will folks."

Nice work Renee. The sad fact is this is how our goverement operates. Because we the public allow it this sicko got off scott free if this information is true.

Was this news published so the public can see and hear it? No. Why was that people? Do you now see what happens to those that cant defend themselves because the public doesnt fight the cover ups and blackouts? Is this fair? Is this justice? Is this what the public wants in those that are supposed to defend us?

I cant wait till we get there to hear for ourselves so that we can open this can up once and for all and bring out to the public what the public has allowed to go on for so long.

That puppy and others are dead or crippled because of us. We allowed the military/goverment to treat us as little children and sheild us from the "horrors" of what they do and allow to happen to others.

The tears we shed should be for our souls. We alone carry the burden and we alone have the power to change it.

My group has written to all three running for president. We have asked for them to look into this. I suggest you all do the same.

Thank you for asking an intelligent question! We keep pushing them by talking with our local news and radio personality people as well as letters and calls.
We document and keep every letter and call we make and forward them onto the senators and congressmen and women that represent our cities, states, federal governments.

We join others in peaceful demonstrations denouncing this type of treatment and blackouts and cover ups

We stay in it for the duration. The government/military feel we are nothing more then sleep led to slaughter and that when something else comes around our attention span will be diverted to it and thus putting this on the back burner. I hate to say it but that has been man kind’s way of thinking and living and they are counting on tomorrow’s news taking us away from today’s news.

Do not forget and keep it up. It will work at least we pray it will.

This David Motari is one sick dude and an insult to the Marines. I heard the military was getting desparate in recruiting the sick, the lame and lazy. This guy must have been allowed to make his "X" on the sign up paper. He should be court-martialed and dishonorably discharged.. God will take care of the rest.

Beetle funny you should say that. I just came back from a meeting where it was discussed that since there is no more "draft" and all of its volunteer the military has had their doctors do a quick one over and in order to save money the mental part of the checkup is not thorough as it used to be.

The guest speaker was a doctor contracted by the military to evaluate the recruits and he admitted he was not allowed to give an in-depth workup to the recruits.

This is what we have come to. Gone are the days of real men going into the military. Now all are welcomed, mental and unstable are the best types!

Again let me state not every person that goes in, goes in with excess baggage. Its just a shame those who are mentally unstable can get in at all! Our standard has been lowered. Will it ever be raised again?

For Ashley and the others who can’t seem to read a post all the way through...no one is saying ALL THE MILITARY ARE MONSTERS!

People will you read please! The damn issue in here is not who kills and where it was done....the freaking issue is the covering it up and blacking it out from the public.

Why the hell are people like Renee and Mandy running from the issue and making fights to hide the real questions? This is where those of us that can read and think for ourselves get testy with those in here that try to hide the real questions with fighting.

Stupid is as stupid does and frankly anyone that fights instead of facing the real questions are just plain stupid and ignorant.

Okay challenge for all you out there. The question is how can we get the military to open up and release the information to the public in order to bring to light that there are serious problems going on and cover-ups and blackouts are not helping the military's cause?

Any takers before I join up with the ones going to see for ourselves what the hell is there reason for the cover ups and blackouts from the public?
