Infamous Marine-Puppy video clip

Thanks to everyone who contacted us about the video clip recently seen all over the Web, where a member of the United States Military can be seen apparently committing a heinous act of animal cruelty, flinging a puppy off a cliff.

Are you sure this was the video? because all I saw was Obama and McCain discussing politics, and I didn't hear them mention anything about animals, maybe you pasted another one. It's ok though, mistskes happen.

I wonder if there is any way that we can get a letter sent to this so called "person" superior or the navy to putt a complaint for this behavior? i didnt see the video because i will just cry...

I just read an updated report about 2 of the Marines involved in this cruel act. They have been 'disciplined' (whatever that means) and the U.S. Marine Corps. have issued a statement saying "The actions seen in the Internet video are contrary to the high standards we expect of every Marine and will not be tolerated," so hopefully the jerks involved are punished enough. I don't know how anyone could do this and I think their punishment should be very harsh. Disgusting. Just wanted to give an update!

I just heard on the news about this horrible crime committed by this marine. I was so disturbed I couldn't sleep last night. If someone could give me a web addresss where I could voice my outrage to the marines I would be very grateful.

When I first read this story it made my stomach turn. My father was a marine and I have the most respect for him. But what these two men did is a disgrace and someone should hurl them off of a cliff. I hope that they get the harshest sentence possible and it is a ashame that they cannot get the death penalty for killing an animal.

This is just horrendous!! it is very sickening to see a so called Marine (no disrecpect to the true Marines out there) even laughing doing this to a poor puppy. Words cannot describe what I thought of doing to him after watching the video. Just because he served in Iraq and maube came back with mental problems does not give him the "right" to do anything even remotely done to that poor creature.
I read in the website were I saw the video (Snopes.com) that his superior did "punish" him but they cannot discuss anything because of some privicy act. I wish they would mention something about the little puppy's right to live but of course the Marine officials have to protect the marine's privacy not the puppy's life.
This makes me sick to my stomach, I just wish some true Marine would kick the living crap out that piece of garbage.
Thanks to all the people who are able to put the video on some websites for other people to see. I will email the link to the website to all of my contacts, so they are aware of this piece of garbage.
Also, if someone has any knowledge of more entities where we can write to express our outrage i.e. elected officials, Marine website, animal organizations, etc will be greatly appreciated.
The more people are aware of this kinds of abuse to poor little angels, the more we can hopefully prevent this in the future.

I'm sorry to post this disturbing link, I was crying to see the cruelty that these videos contain. But I think it is very important to know, well I hope you all know about this, but for those of you who don't here is the link below so that you get informed about how American horses are transported to other countries and slaughtered, how 'dogs' are trapped so severely, in overloaded cages, and killed to be eaten in Asian countries. How by buying a puppy from a pet store supports their suffering in the puppy mills...all this we have to know, we might not be aware of this, and the more we know about it, the more we can do something for these poor innocent beautiful creatures. Hi everyone!!!!!!! I hope you can all help by signing these petitions. I have signed many of them, and it is really shocking and sad how we humans have damaged our world and animals so bad to the point that we are going to be lost and we won't have a chance to fix the irreversible problems that we'll face in the future. I saw this petition that says that a bill was proposed to not take action in Global warming for 20 years, I was so amazed how a governant can be sooooo dumb to propose something like that. They see that everyday is worse in the world and instead of helping and proposing something smart to do they do the opposite WTF???? I can't believe. I also saw this one proposed by Bush to stop drilling and spillings that harm the artic wilderness and the animals that inhabit it. Well I saw a lot of petitions that I thought you all would like to sign. Here is the link, it is just one petition, but as soon as you sign it another one will pop out, pleeeeeease help!!!!
