Thanks to everyone who contacted us about the video clip recently seen all over the Web, where a member of the United States Military can be seen apparently committing a heinous act of animal cruelty, flinging a puppy off a cliff.
We understand your outrage. Please click here to view our response. We invite and encourage you to share this link with your friends who are concerned about the upsetting incident.
Wow, for those how do not know what can happen if you are dishonnorably discharged.. you cant vote, own land, and I forgot the other thing, but there is one more punishment!
As I speculated before, psychotic bully, and to add to that, he evidently was bored and was not getting enough attention, so this is what came out of his mind to do. He has some big mental issues.
I cannot believe this. My boyfriend, a marine, just got back from his second tour (involuntarily recalled) in Iraq, actually he was over there when this video was aired.... I told him about this and asked if he wanted to see the video as proof... and he refused, he was disgusted! I am proud of our military.. and believe me, this is UNACCEPTABLE, SICK, I am just sitting here shaking my head. I have worked on many cruelty cases, and never have I had noises come and haunt me. Unreal..... http://www.dumpert.nl/mediabase/43462/9fb16ab3/us_soldaat_gooit_pup...

How is it you think the like of a less evolved being deserves more support than a human being. Your asking for $18 a month to support one animal and I can give $1.95 a month to support a human child who may or may not give the answer to the cure for cancer or the meaning of life. Do you think a dog or cat has the potential to expound the ideas of the meaning of life? I loved my dog Tuffy when I was growing up but I would gladly sacrifice my dogs life for that of a human being. Your priorities are way out of place.
It's not an "either-or" situation; many people who donate to animal charities also contribute to human-based ones as well. There is plenty of room to care about both!
If you think the $18 vs. $1.95 is not properly balanced, you could donate more to the "human" charity to balance it out. You could also ask that charity via e-mail why the sponsorship amount is so low compared to ASPCA (perhaps they have enough sponsors to allow for lower administrative costs, or they don't have to pay for shelter, etc., or work in only one small region or have fewer outreach centers). And of course, you could simply not donate to ASPCA. Or donate less than $18. Or not do a monthly donation. Your hand is not being forced here, although it is very welcome.
There are no contracts or ordinances that say we are limited to ONLY caring about animals or donating to only one organization. Every individual has their own personal priorities, and it is possible for two (or more!) issues to be ranked the same. It's not fair or right to tell others what their priorities have to be and how they have to be ranked.
Hi MWS...thank you for your response to my question...and for your Christmas wishes. I had a lovely Christmas and hope you did, too. It sounds like you are a vet or vet tech and I am grateful for your response. I agree with you that the greater good…
When I was in high school, I had a film class and I remember one film titled the King of Hearts, it was a British film. You are all old enough to know this film as it was made in the 40's I believe, perhaps a bit earlier or later.
It took place dur…
I just read what was posted on one of your sites, wow, and I was beginning to think you were one of the few of this group that had a bit of intelligence. I was wrong.
The market is flooded with products that make bold claims and then never deliver. Many of these products are perfectly marketed so that people buy them and never return them once they do not work.
