I recently started a business selling dog bandanas for dogs that have been rescued. Hope is my rescued Cavalier and she is so dear to my heart, I wanted to honor her in a very special way. I promise I'm not out here to drive a sales pitch, I just know that many others that have adopted/rescued want to brag about their dogs...this is an awesome way to show them off when you are out and about...come check us out....www.hopessmile.com

First off...what a sweet puppydog! She makes me want to pick her up and snuggle with her. How big is she, weight wise? What a doll!
I would love to hear more information on how you make the bandanas, as I'd love to make them as well. The only things I know are folding a neckerchief in half or else making a triangle shape with straps on them. Can you share some ideas or are they classified information?
Three out of 4 of our dogs have been rescued, and the fourth (Grace...little black female Lab) was close to a rescue, as her pet people were leaving the state the next day. She was the runt of the litter, but she was mine immediately. We also have a larger dog, Aaron. Both of them wear scarves EVERYDAY! I truly believe they don't feel complete without them.
I'd like to join your group, but am unfamiliar on how to do it. Help?

All of the dogs God has blessed us with have actually rescued us!
I can barely remember what life was like without them...except it was very boring and too quiet. I love our mischief makers...they keep me from taking myself too seriously!
When Moses was alive, he would love to nudge people to get their attention. Well, one time, he nudged a friend of ours who had no feeling in his left arm and hand. Unfortunately for him (our friend), Moses chose to nudge him where none of us like to be nudged (especially men, if you catch my drift). The look on our friend's face was absolutely priceless! I'll always remember this!

P.S. Our dogs where scarves...and what a collection they have! Do you have any directions on how you turn a bandana into a scarf?
This is a story I wanted to share... God Bless... Wendy : )

Subject: Dog's Best Friend: Willie Nelson
ATLANTA (AP) - Willie Nelson is looking to become dog's best friend. The country music star has filmed a television spot supporting an anti-dogfighting bill that is moving through the Georgia Legislature.
In the ad, Nelson looks into the camera while "Georgia on My Mind" plays in the background.
"Dogfighting is against the law in Georgia, but the laws are so weak, the beautiful state of Georgia has become a haven for dogfighters from around the country," he says.
The bill would make it a felony for anyone to sell, trade or transport dogs for the purpose of dogfighting.
Utah-based Best Friends Animal Society, a national animal welfare organization, produced the piece and asked Nelson to participate.
State Sen. Chip Rogers, the bill's author, hopes to get the spot on TV and radio around the time of the Dec. 10 sentencing for suspended Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick, who pleaded guilty to a federal dogfighting conspiracy charge.
The bill has passed the state Senate and will go before a House committee in January.
I just might order some for my dogs. Every dog I've ever had has been rescued from abusive families. I'm still rescuing dogs, even if I don't keep them. I take them from abusive homes and I place them with new families where I know they will get the love and respect they deserve.
Win?? I didn't realize this was a contest. How come I didn't get the memo?
