if you saw what i see

almost 4 years i have seen many abused,beaten,battered,terrorized,neglected,hurt,crippled, and unloved puppies,dogs,cats,kittens and livestock,being an ACO of my county also gives myself pleasure in knowing some of thos abusived animals have been paid back in lieu of jailtime,probation,fines and loss of the priviledge to own an animal. when i pick up an animal that is barely alive and rush it to a local vet for immediate care, and it lives is like no other feeling, seeing an abused animal die in my lap on the way to the vet is enough to bring tears to these eyes. have you ever picked up an animal unknown to you and petted it as you watch the last breath pass thru its lips? so please dont condemn animal control officers until you have ridden with a dying pup/dog, cat/kitten.

I don't think everyone is really condeming them just speaking from experience. There are some great Animal Control out there and if you say you care then your one of the few that does their job. Also I see your from TN..Im not trying to sound ignorent when I type this but your not on call for other states ..so you can't really say they all are good hearted ppl and do their jobs. Thank god you actually care and take your job seriously

thank you for your support,,, we actually do have cruelty cases that reach the felony levels,, we have a great bench here in our community,,, nidiffer as well as lincoln and widener and x mooney,, (retired now)

much appreciated comment,, i actually do care, thats why my time is spent well in court... fines, probation,jail, loss of ownership is what i deal to abusive/neglectful owners,,, thank you
