I put everything that goes into the garbage; that my cat might find appetizing ;into a zip bag and sometimes I put it in foil first.I also rinse all the food or juices off of everything;cans, plastic containers etc; before I discard it.It not only helps to keep the cat from it ,the garbage doesn`t smell so much.

My wife was let go of her job in May. When this happened we decided to stop our monthly donation to the ASPCA.

Even though we cancelled, the ASPCA deducted money from our accounts without authorization.

I have been battling with them for 3 weeks trying to get our money back. They refused to help always stating someone will call me. No one ever calls. A few days later I call and the cycle repeats. They are unable/unwilling to transfer me to billing directly. I always have to work with the donation dept who does nothing.

The people there are rude and unhelpful. They have stolen money from us.

I beg you to think twice about donating to the ASPCA.

So i just emailed the nevada spca about a dog that i was sure was being abused. i didn't see it with my own eyes but i know it is. my boyfriend just rented a room with this lady and she has a dog and a cat. the dog looked extremely shabby and underweight. her name was nikki. she was so scared when my boyfriend and i walked in. then she got real low to the ground. when i went down to pet her she was shaking! then ran underneath the table and started barking non stop. the landlord began to yell at her then raised her hand to the dog but didnt hit her. i'm sure she abuses this dog. my boyfriend says he hasn't seen her hit nikki while he was there. also he says she hides underneath his bed when he sleeps. if the nspca doens't do anything what else can i do?

Hi
My dog loves Eukanuba products, but recently I have found that IAMS used to conduct cruel animal testing in the year 2002 and 2003.
Is it proven to still be the case?
Thanks,
Baruch

This forum is weird...as in the layout. All topics are like merged into one big discussion. That is neither here or there, I just wanted to ask...

What brand of food do you feed your dog or cat?

I was wondering if there is a group I searched and came up with nothing but a group for pets with cancer. I came up with a positive website that I would like to share with others about a dog who had splenic hemangiosarcoma same as my Klausie and despite the very poor prognosis from the vets with this cancer because it is a cancer that starts in the blood vessels.
I have also been in contact with the owner of this dog so I now know its not just some website with false hope so I would like to share as there can be hope for dogs with this cancer

hi, I just read in my mail about " dog guarding" or better food aggression. In my case my 13 year old dog is very aggressive towards her food, only if there is another dog around. I am doggy-sitting my sons dog(duke) he is a big white german sheppard and very sweet. My dog is a cocker spaniel (abby). She seems to get along real well with duke, except when it is feeding time. Abby so calm, qiute and sweet become scary, growling, barking and about to attack duke. I have separated them at meal times but abby is also agressive towards dukes bowl and even his water. How can I change her behavior? at meal time abby is like Dr. jeckal and Mr. hide....Thank you.

All good ideas, thanks! I wondered myself why she didn't grab the one for $100, but who knows, maybe she has funeral expenses...?

Thank you for clearing this up for the naysayers. It started with a post on my part to get donations for your organization and it turned into hideous mud slinging venture. The guerrilla tactics are disgusting by these few. I have no doubt they have…
