For 15 years Caesar was locked in a crush cage too small for her large body. Today this is Caesar at the Animals Asia sanctuary. The intention of the Ursa Freedom Project is to liberate 9,000 bears who are still living in crush cages.

Work is underway to organize concerts in Los Angeles, San Francisco, London and other cities across the globe to raise awareness and money to liberate 9,000 bears from horrid crush cages on bile farms. A group called Benefit for the Bears has formed at the Ursa Freedom Project Action Network, with Blue Jay Music Productions coordinating the concerts. Let us know what kind of music you play, where you can perform, where you have music contacts, and who you know that that can help sponsor benefit concerts. Let's do some jamming and give some mighty concerts for the bears!

The Ursa Freedom Project is also organizing art auctions with original art designed for the campaign. And fashion shows. And kayak regattas. And astrology readings. And motorcycle runs. And more, so much more! There are many creative options for involvement in the campaign. The sky truly is the limit! Just ask Ursa Major.

Click here if you can participate.
