Dear Friends,
We have a miracle among us, and she is in danger. Two years ago, in a small region called Whacheun-gun in Kangwon-do province, South Korea, a young female Moon Bear escaped from a brutal bile farm and has miraculously survived the Korean wilderness for two years on her own. Befittingly, the bear's name is Miracle.

Miracle’s’ life had been in grave danger due to government orders to shoot and kill the bear on sight. Villagers of Whacheun have protested, arguing that Miracle ought to be captured, not killed, and released into the wild at Whacheun Mountain.

Effective June 1, the order to kill Miracle has been retracted and efforts are now in effect to capture the bear to ensure she is relocated safely to Whacheun Mountain.

I urge everyone here to show support for this bear. Please write a short, positive letter to Korean officials expressing gratitude for their change of heart and for now trying to capture and relocate Miracle to safety. Miracle is a precious and majestic animal whose life is valuable for the bear population restoration work being done in Korea. There are only nine (9) Moon Bears left in the wild in South Korea. Let's thank the Korean officials for their conservation efforts. Your letters will help ensure Miracle actually reaches safety when she is found.

Please write your letters to the following officials and send them to Kelly McKenna, so she can expedite delivery within Korea. Kelly works for moonbears.org, a conservation organization in Korea that works to free Moon Bears from bile farms and end Korea's demand for bile products.

I agree about kindness and dignity, and the lack of it especially during transport. I would hope to see that dignity upheld, but many horse lovers would not have the ability to work that job due to the nature, and so many times people working at sla…
