i have to move and i have to find a home for my beloved cat otis and my bird may i live in western ky , marshall county acctualy and i refuse to send them to a shelter, oti ha been fixed and i have all his paperwork, hes less than a year old and may is 8 she coms with her cage and food please anyone help!

yea i talked to the humane society and they.... have no room and will put him to sleep, i cant see that happen to my baby. he is such a good cat it kills me and shelters and fosters are so full from christmas animals, how can u love it when its little then throw it away when it gets bigger. i dont want to give him up at all

you know what you should do put a add on Craigslist for a free cat and bird. i think it is free but i would try it if thats all i have.

I'm with renee on this. I would rather live on the streets with my dog than in a beautiful home without her. (of course dog and home is better) Any place that won't allow pets is no place for me. I say keep the pets and look for another place to live.

well i live in a very small town, i have 2 cats and a bird, no car, and im on ssi. there arent truely and places here to move to. im lost and at a standstill. so many ppl around here have let others have pets and then the animals destroy the house "owners fault" and its not fair to break up our family. i feel the same way and have thats why its came down to this. i cant take it in my heart and im tring to go anywhere i can that will let me have them, some ppl are asking for 100 deposits for all 3 "300" or 50 xtra per month per pet. i will die so what good would i be to them then? i am tring to find him a good home nothing more, nothing less

Is there an ASPCA anywhere close in your area? If there is, go talk to some of their people and ask them if they can help you find a place that would permit your pets without excessive fees. Their workers have seen it all. I bet someone there could help you. Or, perhaps they might know someone that would care for them (as theirs) and permit you to come visit occasionally. Worth a check.

Please call All cat rescue groups in your area. They will place bird also. Also calling local Vets helps. Check rescue groups reputation and and see who there affiliates are. All No kill shelters will also respond. If U are on SSI, why have U not tried for government housing with your social worker? Or are U on a waiting list? U say U R going to die? If that's the case why has Hospice not been notified for your care, etc by the Dr, who diagnosed this? I am very aware of Legal services and some of this I find odd. Leaving 2 cats is Tramatic for the cats, so proper arrangements can and will B made by your social worker , Hospice and network of available resources they have contacts with. Please explain more detail as we do not expect U to give medical info etc, just realistic reasons for the abrupt move and not asking for the resources you are entitled to by law prior to this brief commentary discussion. Also , Renee is 100 percent correct. Free animals are used as bait in fight rings, sold to experimental labs for horrid medical procedures etc. Craigs list should be avoided at all costs and reasoning as well as any Ad for Free to good home. Bobbie

Bronte, U have 8 cats and 2 R pregnant? What kind of Responsibilty of pet guardianship is that????? Havent you heard of spay and neuter, Vets, shots etc. Sorry, but please educate yourself on pet care. That is horrific pet responsibility on your part. Who would give you another cat when you cant care for the ones you have now???? Sorry situation. Disgusted. Bobbie
