We Did It!!! We got the proof and now My Neighbor (MN) will go to Court and Gage will have his day!

Okay so I got a phone call from MN's family member saying he got arrested and wanted me to go over to get his wallet and his laptop. i later found out he was arrested Thursday. My imediate question was where's Gage? What happened to Gage? So I went over there with my fiance, Kevin, to go get MN's stuff. His cousin's wife (?) told me the back door was unlocked. while looking for his stuff which took forever to find his wallet for him, we also searched everywhere for Gage. and we found this. ( pictures to follow) I took pictures with my camera phone and had the evidence but didnt know where Gage could be. So I called my Momma and she said he probably got picked up by Animal Control when MN got arrested. So i called my contract with Animal Control and he told me to go to the SPCA make sure that Gage is there and then use his name to put a hold on him so that when MN gets outa jail for what he's done in Maryland, I haerd that's where whe was going, he could come back here and get chareged with Gage's abuse. YAY! WE GOT HIM!!! GAGE WILL HAVE HIS DAY!!!

These are the horrible conditions that Gage was kept in for hours at a time: First he was in the bedroom closet. you can see the "clean" spot where the Kennel was. there's a thick layer of fur behind it and poo paw prints embedded into the carpet. Also after leaving there, we were there for less than ten minutes, we were covered in fleas. covered!

These are the conditions in the bathroom where Gage was kept last. The place is layered in urine and feces and dog fur.

Im so happy that Gage will now have his day and we'll be able to help him and Save him so he can have a better chance at a good life. and no longer suffer the abuse he did at the hands of someone who defintly called Gage "his son!"

OMG Sarah that is so good, not only is Gage free of the cage, hes now in a safer custody. Can you interact with him? I know he would have to be kept by rescue or someone secure until they bring MN up on charges, just would feel better if he was out of the shelter so someone doesnt mess up. Poor boy needs to learn house manners as well as that all people dont do things like that. but yeeeeehaaaaaaaaa

Thank you IWA i am too! Im not sure if ill get the chance to look after him or if one of my rescues will but Im hoping and praying he finds a wonderful home!

it still seems like a dream for us to just stubble in on this evidence for MN to just open the door like that and hand it to us! omg Im so so happy!

I dont know for sure yet if he is with the SPCA im praying he is because other wise we arent gunna be able to find him but Im pretty sure that is where he is. IM going tomorrow to get him on the save list for court. and put a hold on him. I worked my butt off on this one and it makes me so so happy that he's not being abused by that guy any more!

Good Job Sis I know how hard this case was for you. Things are getting so much better for all parts concerned happy to know the poor dog is out of those absolutely disgusting conditions. poor thing will now have a bit od peace I hope the best for him and that the judge throws the book at the culprit and throws away the key when the shister goes to jail. Love you bunches sis well done bravo yaaaah wooohoo.
