I WOULD LIKE TO SEE MORE INFORMATION ON AGING AND PROBLEMS WITH OVERWEIGH DACHSHUNDS.MAYBE SOME OWNERS WILL THINK TWICE ABOUT FEEDING THEM TABLE SCRAPS...
Well, are they always going to be from to 12-1, why? I always miss them. What times can they possibly be changed to? Maybe 3-4?? Oh, I would like to see something horse related, a live chat with Annemarie Lucas again like you did for ASPCA Day '08, and Victoria Wells. : D That's what I would love to see. : ) -Shell
Thanks Shell!
Look for Victoria's chat, she'll be the first up in January. We usually do 12-2 because folks can write in during their lunch break. If you can't make it, feel free to send me a question and I'll ask for you!
Oh, that's what I thought, that they do it during their lunch breaks. I can't wait for the live chat with her! She's so cool! I always see her on Animal Precinct, along with others, it'll be so cool! I like how this community is here. And how we get the wonderful oppurtunity to speak with people like her at ASPCA. If only there could be one with Victoria Stilwell. :) I'll be sure not to miss this one. When is the next Live Chat with someone at the ASPCA? Bye! -Shell

I would actually like to come and speak about my new business. I know all of you are concerned about pets that are needlessly relinquished that can otherwise have productive lives with surgery and other procedures. Only 1/3 of the pets are utilizing sophisticated and modern technology and 5% - 10 % of pets are relinquished yearly because owners can not implement after care. Pet illness and old age are among the top ten reasons why pets are relinquished and many times owners can not distinguish the difference between actual disease states and disease free problems associated with aging. The utilization of the Pet Home Health Agency encourages the use of modern veterinary technology which will assist in increasing the longevity of pets and decreasing the relinquishment of pets.
Pet Home Health Agency is similar to a visiting nurse service, only we are a visiting Vet Tech service. Follow up after care in the home is our specialty and our licensed Vet Techs see pets and their owners that require assistance with diabetes management, post op surgical care, dressing changes, fluid management, medicine management, diet control, owner education, infections and the list goes on and on. While some clinics and hospitals may provide this type of care occasionally, we are a formal organized company that provides this service full time.
I think many people would be interested in hearing more about how this service works and how it can benefit the pets , their owners and the Veterinarians. www.pethomehealthagency.com
