Hi this is Karen. I need help. I know of a home who has a 3 or 4 month old lab puppy who is starving and is very thin, has a sore on his back behind, has no water nor food and no shelter and is in terrible shape. i found it over the weekend, called the local dog shelter, of course, no one there, called the local sherriff and they told me since i fed and watered it, it would not be a emerency, they would leave a message for the dog catcher but doubted if it came out before monday morning, this was done on Saturday night. Can someone please tell me, is this wrong, am i looking at this the wrong way, i thought that is what a humane society is all about and animal shelters. The puppy would have to go two more days without food and water because i live far away and could not get to it and by then it could die, what does people think about this? am i wrong? please someone give me some info. email me at boyer43@att.net thanks karen

PLEASE CAN SOMEBODY HELP ME ? IM HAVING A VERY HARD TIME DEALING WITH THE DEATHS OF MY BABIES . THE POLICE HAD NO RIGHT TO SHOOT THEM .I FEAL AS IF I AM FIGHTING THIS ALONE NO ONE HERE AROUND ME UNDERSTANDS THE BOND I HAD WITH THEM EVERYTHING REMINDES ME OF THEM .IM TRYING SO HARD TO BE STRONG .BUT I KEEP BRAKING DOWN EVERY TIME I GET TURNED AWAY BECAUSE NO LAWYER IN LAS VEGAS WANT'S TO GO UP AGAINST THE POLICE OVER DOG'S THEY JUST DONT UNDERSTAND THEY WERE MY BABIES . I LOVED THEM SO MUCH. IVE WROTE EVERY ONE I CAN THINK OFF AND NO REPLY AND WHEN I DO GET ONE . IT'S IM SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS BUT WE DON'T HANDEL CASES LIKE THAT . IM LOST BARKS UNHURD

Please, everyone spread the word about this! The Sago Palm plant is very toxic to cats. Cats love to eat plants, but this plant they can't have. 75% of cats that eat the plant lose their lives. The ASPCA has a poison control number- it's (888) 426-4435 Repeat:(888)426-4435 Please, if you have one of these plants, do not let your cats eat it. If you don't have cats or these plants, just help me spread the word.

thank you so much for this awesome group. i think it is fantastic. it will help many people with many questions. i know myself always has many questions to ask and never no who to contact and if you contact and vet or animals shelter, either the line is busy or they put you on hold for an hour and by then it is too late. thanks again, your great.
