When Asking a Question ...

Hi guys! If you have a training question to ask Victoria, here are some helpful tips!

1. LIMIT YOURSELF TO ONE QUESTION. Pick the one that's most important to you! Your question has a better chance of being answered if it's not one of those four-parters that involve a whole bunch of variables.

2. PROVIDE AS MUCH DETAIL AS POSSIBLE. The more information you can give Victoria, the better she can understand your situation and come up with some ideas for you and your pet.

3. POST IN DISCUSSION FORUM, not in "Comments." The discussions are individual topic threads--so when you start one, people can respond just to your message. The comments section, on the other hand, is a free-for-all!

Thanks!!!

I am the proud mom to 2 great dane puppies. They are 5 and 4 months old my only problem that I am having with them is that they get angery over being woke up and food bowls. They don't show anger to humans over the food bowls but they do to being woke up.

My dog is a rescue dog who is very loving to me but is very afraid of others. He shows his fear by barking at anyone who looks at him or tries to reach out to him. I live in the city and he's a chihuahua and people "can't help" but reach out to him. Can a behaviorist help with this?

i have a 3 year old pit mix and a i year old pit mix that just really want to kill each other. they each take turns starting fights with one another and there are periods of time when they behave and get along they even play with each other. the problem is the i year old male has been getting more and more aggressive with our 3 year old female and he has actually broken skin on her. he also shows other dog agression as well as people aggression. i am trying to get help from a trainer none of my dogs have had actual training done with them but they are soooooo expensive. my dogs now were muzzles when they are out together just so if they do start a fight they can't do any damage to one another do you have any advise for me.

I have a very excitable pitbull puppy... when I take her for walks, it seems like she is walking me! How do I get her to behave properly so that we can both enjoy walks?
