There are many different poisonous plants -- probably more than 17. And many so-called non-toxic plants can cause vomiting and diarrhea. The best place to check what plants are poisonous or not is at the Poison Control Center's web site at http://www.aspca.org/pet-care/poison-control/.
I have actually viewed the ASPCA list as well as several other reputable web sites lists (e.g. Cornell) of common household poisonous plants however, I have been unsuccessful in locating any information about the Astromedia plant. (They look like minature lillies, although they do not have a scent, come in an array of colors and freshly cut, can last for up to 2-3 weeks! They are usually purchased at the local supermarkets and I especially enjoy them and it appears that my cat does too!!) I have never witnessed him actually nibbling on them, but he does make every effort and will go to great lengths (jumps up on the refrigerator) to get to them and that makes me nervous. Since I have been unable to uncover the "mystery" behind the flower, I have decided not to purchase them any longer (at least in the interim). Any information would be greatly appreciated & Thanks for your time!
Sorry Barbara....I've heard to many horror stories about this group to think they've done anything good. They might be trying to do good but they're failing from all I've read and heard about them. If you know something different I'd appreciate hear…
You are kidding right? Just how much do YOU really know about this group? Or are you, like with the Justice story, posting something that you received second hand and took to be the truth? And for anyone to be so arrogant to ASSume that this suppose…
Renee, your mistake was an honest one. It's a shame that the child can't see it for that and continues to spew her venom. What I posted about fullmoon farms is what I know about them from seeing them on the news and the problems they've had over the…
