Hey, cool! One of the pups that I've adopted from work is a Border Collie X. Shadow Dog rounds out my shelter family! So, far I've 3 cats, 2 dogs and 1 ferret all from my shelter. I'd better stop bringing work home with me!

Hello patricia continue with what you are doing let her figure it out. Shower her with love and treats. By being calm and asertive you are showing her that you are worthy of her affections. Getting a dog that has been mistreated and abused takes time sometimes the rest of the dogs life. You could try DAP. I have a greyhound who was very nervous when I got him. Dap has helped and showing him what love is has helped him. maybe you should talk to your vet. If everything is done at the dogs pace it should work eventually. Dap is an artificially created pheromone that bitches with pups secreet and this calms the pups and gives them a feeling of well being. Talk to your vet and ask for advice. Cudos to you for taking Daisy in. Giving her that vital second chance of life. Lisbeth and the lads

It is my belief that a gunshot to the head (properly placed) would be no worse than a fast acting lethal injection. Having not experienced either, this remains speculation on my part.

I too missed the critisim everyone is talking about but have read a lot of the comments. I am an RN and had to resign back in August of this year to care for my 20 year old grandson after he was critically injured in a auto accident. For 3 months I…

a) you never proved him to be an idiot (which anyone with half a brain can plainly tell he isn't). b) you haven't proven him to be a crook; and he isn't known for a fact to be one. Without being able to prove both, you would most likely lose a lib…
