Hi Columbus Demonstrators,

I hope you all had a great holiday season and have recovered! This is a reminder that the Petland Demonstration is this Saturday, May 9, 1:00-3:00 pm. The address of the Polaris Petland is:

86 Meadow Park Ave.
Lewis Center, OH 43035
(Next to Super Wal-Mart, Hwy 23)

I really hope you will be able to attend the demonstration!! This is a great way to help out animals and have some fun. Here is more information about Saturday.

Do not park in the Petland parking lot, and do not congregate in front of the store or go inside as this is private property. Based on the location, my best suggestion on parking would be the Giant Eagle, or Kohls parking lot, but its best not to congregate in the parking lot at all.

We will meet along 23, at the intersection McDonalds sits on. We will be holding our posters along the entrance and street. I would suggest not bringing dogs, as we will be along a very busy road.

Again, I will be providing 30 posters. Many of you have already claimed yours, and I will bring them. There are still some left over. If you wish to create and bring your own poster feel free. Here are HSUS approved ideas…if you want to make up your own slogan, make sure it’s respectful and on point. Please do not use pictures of puppy mill dogs on your posters for legal reasons.

slogans: Adopt! Don’t Shop!, Tell Petland to Stop Selling Puppies, Petland, Get Out of the Puppy Business, Petland: Selling Misery since 1967, Tell Petland: She’s a Mother, Not a Machine, Petland: Turning Squalor into Dollars, Petland: The Pain Behind the Profits, Petland’s “High Standards” are Pretty Low, Petland: Dogs Don’t Deserve Life in Prison, Petland’s Prisoners of Profit, Petland: A Bad Deal for Dogs, Petland is No Friend to Man’s Best Friend, Puppies are not Products.. However it is more effective to use SIMPLE MESSAGES: BOYCOTT PETLAND END PUPPY MILS
