SMALL KITTEN FOUND LAST WEEK CAN'T CONTROL BOWEL MOVEMENTS

I know, I know the first advise would be a vet. The problem is when taking in so many abandoned animals MONEY, so if there is any advise that can help me try to take care of this problem myself it would be very appreciated by me and "Baby" she eats a bit of dry food drinks water, uses a litter box but most of the time her little poop just falls where it will she might be walking, laying down, playing just any where any time. She isn't constipated and it isn't diarrea. Her and her brother "boots" were dumped on the road last week, boots seems to be just fine. I am guessing they are maybe 5-6 weeks old. Please help if you can!!!

Tom just forget those heartless people who have no feelings for the homeless animals. I consider myself a "crazy cat lady" and I am proud of it. It means we have loving hearts that cannot stand to see animals suffer. Kudos to you for all you do for the helpless and forgotten little ones.

i don't get why people that care or animals are clled names, but I don't sweat th smalle things. the people that have no room in their heart for GOD's creatures are just sad excuses for human beings

I don't know..... I do know that we are all blessed to care so much and love even more.. Your cats are very lucky to have you love them and I have No doubt they Love you and feel secure with you as their Dad, .....enjoy being such a good "crazy cat man" and may there be more of you! I found this a long time ago, I thought that it would be of some help to you, Ginger Ann, or to all that take in homeless animals.

Here is help for those who need help with emergency vet services. DO NOT let your pet suffer!

This information is for both rescue people and individuals. I'm posting a list of organizations that may be able to help in times of emergency when the difference between saving your pet's life is the difference in whether or not you can pay the vet bill.

Note: these organizations help only in EMERGENCY situations - not for people who can't or won't provide basic care, although I think there are some organizations listed here who provide help to special needs people, like elderly who are on fixed incomes.

I too am against taking in animals without the funds for vet services, but when there is not a rescue/SPCA/shelter that will help, not sure there is much choice...other than leaving them on the street and allowing them to die out there. I dunno, but I wish y'all the best in helping these babies

Thank you so much for the information Bams, every little bit helps us to take care of so many abandoned animals. There really isn't a choice in my mind or heart when it comes to taking them in or leaving them alone on the street. most of the time that is a death sentence while alone and starving. With people like us they get Love and a much better chance at having a happy healthy life......Ginger

Ginger is baby totally ok now that she was wormed? I remember weekend we got Missycat, we went down to my sisters and took her as I couldnt see her doing ok with daily feedings like the adults, she was about 7-8 weeks old. I immediately set up the litterbox but she was already making a runny deposit on their white carpet, then proceeded to walk off trailing a worm ewwwwwwww... we spent the next few hours at the emergency vet, thought it was a hookworm from what I saw...

HI Cheryl, Baby certainly did have worms.... those long nasty damn things... No wonder considering the days her and her brother spent wondering these country hills before they hit my driveway... She is, I will go with "97%" totally okay now... I watch her carefully and it is now so easy to see the health coming to her. She was so little to be thrown out that way that I honestly am amazed she made it to here.. she I am sure was the rut But no longer. Her brother Boots "I named him for his cute little white feet with all that red" was twice her size and no such problems actually no problems except being the most gentle kitten I have ever seen. He doesn't even consider those kitty claws when playing... just a soft rub and purrrrrr! Baby is doing great and becoming quiet the little scamp and loving it! I completely agree with the Ewwwwwwwwwwwww, I thought I was going to be totally sick when I not only saw but had to assist a bit in "Babies" worm..... Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwww is More the right...... Take good care... My dogs are getting jealous as they haven't required quiet so much attention of late, LOL... Ginger Ann

Hi Ginger,
So glad to hear Baby is doing so well, thanks to your loving care. May I ask what you did to get rid of the worms? Also you say she had a brother Boots, did he have worms too?

Again, hang in there and bless you for taking care of so many little lives that others throw away like they are garbage. Those people make me sick and should never be allowed to have an animal again.

I calico, I purshased valucat wormer on line as it takes care of all 3 of the nasty types found in cats. Though Boots showed none of the signs I wormed him also. I just assume it is something that was found during their days abandoned that was eaten... Maybe just Baby. Boots is the gentlest kitten I have ever known, well they both are....my he is a trip. It's like he knows to keep his claws in when playing with me or just touching me... and has yet to even kind of scratch me... witch kittens are good at when playing....I totally agree about the people who toss these animals out like trash.... And would not hesitate to call the police If I saw it happen. In most cases it is against the law.... let them live on the street starving lonly, frightened and freezing for a while as a sentence! Take good care, Ginger

Hi Maria, Thank you for the information.... Baby is actually doing great, still has a little bit of a "poop" problem but is so much better... she is gaining wieght now and just as silly as she can be. I love to watch her play with the others because she is half their size but almost always outwits and out plays them all. Many may say that what and how I handle these babies is just wrong....but if they could see them grow, live and damn if I don't see them smile at times....LOL, happy, basicly healthy...and living a much better life then the "human" that tossed them... Maybe, just maybe some views would be changed... I don't know if you saw the pics of these 8 cats/kittens I placed here "all abandoned" well all but 2 that I bought from the "POUND" but I am attaching 1 just in case you didn't...His name is Hemi because as a small kitten I heard him crying inside a Hemi engine last winter. No one can look at this baby and honestly think what we do is wrong, because we might have to take the hard way to get them healthy, make them happy and give them love and a home. If I had enough money I would without doubt have my own animal shelter, well larger then the one I have now. Ask my dogs, Sarge, Mouchie, No Name, Tiger, Lucky they will tell you..........LOL, take care and Bless you for being on these beautiful babies side..... Ginger
