I love kitties-we have 4 now. The youngest 2 are rescues, the older 2 were abandoned/unwanted. I have always loved cats but always prefered a dog-until I met my boyfriend and he turned me into a cat person. lol. He has 5(all rescues) and I have my 4.

I have always had a week spot for cats. My cat Tigger passed away in January of 2005. My pregnant stray Baby, dissappeared in January of 2004. Two other cats in the neighborhood dissappeared that same month. I don't know how anyone could harm such a beautiful creature. Two of her 8 kittens died. One got out of the box and we never found him. We found homes for the others. I now have two males (Morris & Max). Morris showed up on my doorstep about a month after Tigger died. I got Max in April of this year when the neighbors passed away. He had nowhere else to go. He's an indoor/outdoor cat. He's 7 years old. If I hadn't taken him in, he would have gone to the humane society local shelter. I love them all very dearly! There's a poem on my home page that I wrote for Morris. Here is a bit of fun for you and your cat. Cats like to kill things. When you bring home a bag of good dry cat food, throw it on the floor unopened, and let your cat kill it and feed. I know it sounds messy, and it is a little, but it is worth it. The cat will usually drag it around a bit, rip a single hole in the bag, and burrow in the way a lion goes for the stomach. She'll maybe even growl a little while she attacks the bag. When she is done feeding, sweep up the mess, put the spilled food back in the bag, and mend the hole with duct tape. Your wild beast will love you for it. My wife showed me this many years ago, and I and my cats have enjoyed it ever since. It lets an indoor cat act like a mountain lion for once.

Fleas have taken over. I rescued a kitten and now I need to be rescued. From the fleas that is. Help!! I tried the bombing and vacumm and shampoos and cheap flea drops to no avail. Funds are no longer available and would love some free professional flea treatment for my cats. anyone know any. thanx

I dont remember if my message about the little kitten @ 1 1/2 lbs the big kid burned his nose and he died the next day. He recieved the max and I still this beautiful blue eyed baby's picture taped to my office wall on the side of my desk. Everyday I come into my office I say to him" Good morning Cuddles" and I feel like he is mine now.

hey everybody we just got my cat Killarney back after being lost for 5 weeks! we took her to the vet she was covered in ticks and is only 7 pounds...any ideas to get her back to a good weight?
