Checklist for animal caretakers:

Please add your contributions to ALL animals in the main room here. Add what is not generic to the individual animal category.

Please contact me so I can open new discussions for different animals so I can moderate the content of the main discussion to format it like a checklist, then link to the individual discussion submission.
If I miss yours for more than a day, please EMAIL me so I dont miss it!

Please to do include good books on the individual animal topic as well as links!

Water:
Water heaters keep water from freezing but stay away from 120 volts or they can chew through lines and be electicuted.

Its important to make sure there is adequate ventilation especially in summer, here is a link to the dog group giving more detail link to post in dog group

In this example, when separate posts are made then I can link to the separate information instead of, if 2 or 3 or more topics are covered in one submission then I cant make the link to that comment/reply without them getting more information than what they are looking for and have to go through a huge reply to get "just" the information they want on that topic.

NOTE
Links for more details in the submitted comment, CAN BE on any other page of any other group of this "entire" site (totally encouraged!) so we dont have duplicate content all over the site, and to PROMOTE others to going to other groups. We are not out to pull everything into this group, but provide a way to find the information on what is needed by a care giver, in OTHER locations on the site. Post the information "here" if you cant find it else were, or reply to someone elses post with the link, if you do find it someplace else on the site.

I'll try and find specific items though that you'd need for any type of fish.. like aquarium, water pump, ect.

I'm leaving it as is (see intent on the rabbits page for example of intended destination) I'm going to leave yours as is because it contains "general" information.
If you want to add "more specific" information on any individual item, please make each one a "separate" post.

You can add a discussion there for that if there is not one already.
then in the discussion link to other groups that go into more detail on it such as petitions (the link, to the discussion in the group that has the petition link which will likely have text to go with it asking for that petition to be signed ect)
I'm intending this group, to be for those of us with animals in our homes or on our property (in the case of horses) Lama alpacas etc are going to be added to "this" group too.
The idea is to organize the whole website, so things can be found all over it from here.
Sorta an index, only this group is for IN HOME CARE, were as All life on earth group also covers everything not covered here.
