Hello Communtiy,
I joined you because I am looking for a new loving home for my 14 months old Pointerlady.
Unfortunately of the economical circumstances I have to go back to work full-time. That means our dog has to stay alone for nine hours every day - and we don't want this to happen. Because - as a Pointerlady she is a high energetic dog and needs a lot of exercise.

This is why we are looking for a new "active" home with more time to fulfill her needs.
What you should know about our dog:

Of course she is fully housebroken and behaves good at home. If she needs to go to the bathroom she just goes to the door.

Our dog is a curious girl of 14 month.
She is great with everybody – humans and dogs. But as mentioned before - she needs a lot of exercise. I walk her 2 hours every day. She is also good as a jogging or biking partner - she runs perfectly beside a bike. But a fenced yard is not enough exercise!
If she gets her exercise she is the perfect “Couch-Potato” at home – lies down on her blanket and sleeps most of the time.
She is fully-grown and her actual size is 2 feet and weights 50 pounds. Pointers are really athletic – therefore she is also very strong. If the new family have kids I would recommend that they should be older than 12 years. She loves to play with all kids but because of her size she is a tough play buddy. Yet she never shows any kind of aggression.

She also attended obedience training and could do all basic commands – she comes with a certificate from the Northern Illinois Dog Club. If you need any references we could provide you with the information of our trainer.

Naturally she is up to date with all her vaccinations – you will get all her medical records. She is neutered as well.

If you get her she is ready to move in with all her stuff – leashes, collars, blankets, food, dishes, toys, etc.

We really want her in a loving family that gives her the exercise she needs. Our main issue is her best. Therefore we are asking only for a small "relocation fee" - to filter the serious interests.

You can have a look at her on: http://community.webshots.com/user/Applebee09

We could also stay in contact and could take her for weekends or vacations if there is a need.
We are from the Chicago-Area.

So, I hope that is all the information you need and you are going to help us to find her a new family. If you need any more information do not hesitate to contact me.

If somebody is interested please contact us by phone or email.

I wish you a pleasent weekend.

Has ever one ever had a dog legally kidnapped?? I just had to surrender my gf's Siberian husky to her ex because of a unfair judge. Here's the story: The ex dropped the dog off at my gf's trailer late one night, no food, water or shelter. The landlord called us and told us he was there so we had to get a taxi driver to go pick him up and bring him to a trusted friend. The next day we went to scoop him and brought him to camp with us. 8 weeks later cops called us to say "bring the dog the ex has temporary custody of him till the court date a whole month later".Here's where it gets sticky, hes not even with the ex, hes in a foster home. Strangers in a big college town!! The husky was raised by my gf, she knew him best, the ex was abusive to him, swearing at him and hitting him. She and I are devastated, what to do? We have a counter suit, but as I said before, the judge apparently has a liking for the ex and there's only one in town. I'll keep you posted as to what happens next.
