Victoria, I responded to your post. You left out a few details like the dog was left last time for 8 months with you!!!!!!! When did your friend say she was picking the dog up.. if the dog is abandoned, then you should contact a lawyer. There are abandonment laws.

My concern would be legal issues on who owns the dog. I'm sure if it's your friend you don't want to report her, but if she needs your help again could you have her sign something infront of a notary representative that says she is giving the dog to you? This is by no way legal advice I'm just wondering if that is something you could work out.

Hi everyone i am new to this group. I am here because i need help. We have a friend who is having alot of personal issues and doesnt takecare of her dog, she has let him come live with us several times to help her out. last time we had him for 8 months and she didnt give us anything all out of our $. My ? is can we keep him by law because she cant feed him he was flithy with poop all over his tush and can see he is so skinny after we cut his hair. plz help

hmmmm that's odd Michael. Usually if you block someone their emails won't come through. So far I've been lucky. The only place I've seen the Whoopie email and the Tiger emails are in my spam folder and I just delete them all right off the bat.
