Your beloved pet is NOT disposable property!!!!!

Pets are living creatures, capable of fear, love, pain, loneliness, and joy. They should never be considered disposable property. That's one less animal that needs rescuing, Please it might cost your pet his or her life otherwise.Don't you agree?

First and foremost, pets are living creatures, capable of fear, love, pain, loneliness, and joy. They should never be considered disposable property, for they should be considered members of the family. There are many reasons people feel they must give up their animals. If you can find a solution to the problems, and help make your pet a member of the family in good standing, that's one less animal that needs rescuing, and both the animal and humans will be happier. Please it might cost your pet his or her life otherwise. I made this video and I think it says it all...Don't you agree?

If you made a choice to adopt an animal it should be a bond for life. Just like abopting a child, after a while if people don't like their new child, what do they do ? abandon him/her or give them to someone else? I cannot beleive how much sadness for our furry friends go around! just like my last aboption. I still wonder and think of my dogs last owners. I don't know them and I don't think I would ever want to! Not that "abby" was abused ( I hope not) but thinking how can anyone abondon their dog after so many years. When I saw Abby in the cage, so sad a scared it just crushed my heart. When I read her paper, I could not see any other animal, but I just wanted to take her homw with me right away. Abby, when I got her she was 12 years old, yes yo heard right 12 years old! a sweet cocker spaniel that was 18 lbs, scared, had a mailgnant mealnoma on her left paw toe, several warts on her body, and flease, it just broke my heart. I felt like someone just threw her away at the end of her remaining days...like if someone threw me in a nursing home to die...Well I took her, her adoption was very slim to nothing due to her old age and most likely she was going to be put down because no one wanted her.My biggest question was "how can anyone get rid of the pet after so many years"?...on the paper it said, owners never home...hmmmmI don't beleive that! However, I took her to the vet, she had her toe amputated, the warts removed, her teeth cleaned, and I started to bring her the groomer...In the beginning she was so quite, not wanting to play, slept most of the timeand of course she had diarea and it was only due to stress...anyone would be stressed if tossed around! well still today I have abby she had her birthday now she is 13 years old and 3 months...and she is HAPPY!! A real turn around...she barks, gives kisses to one of my cats, sticks her butt in the air to play, and if go out and come back in the house her long ears stick up, she takes her head and pushes it between my knees and she runs back and forth to greet me and play...One of the most happy moment, which is so funny to me , but I am prepared is when I take her out to go potty, yep it is! Once she goes poopy...she is so happy, strange but she is, she tries to bury it with her paws, you know the backward dance they do, she looks at me...squats down, butt in the air and ready to run and play....I love it!!She is so happy and she does NOT act or look old at all!! Abby helped me in so many ways in my life, health wise, and I did the same for her...I guess we were ment to be together...I guess it was destiny that I went there to "PetSmart" looking for some fish for my aquarium...So to your question, yes I do theink that Pepper's owner was selfish and irresponseble...just because she sheds! All animals shed...that is why we are here to groom them and sweep up the floor....grrrrrr, it is called being responsible. A person like that should never have animals. They are not worthyness to have such a pleasure in life...So yes I do agree with you.
