Ime glad to hear he is happy Lisbeth.
The RSPCA in the UK is not as good as they state they are, Yes they do help a few but they also dont help as many as they state they do.
Ive seen the RSPCA in the UK say they dont put healthy animals down but I have worked in a few Vets and we had been told to put down quite a few healthy dogs and cats, I myself have refused because there are plenty of decent homes out there that would take on these animals but the because thr RSPCA charges to much for you to have one which they call a rehomeing fee which is about £140 english pounds for a dog and about £50 for a cat then they put restrictions on people where they do home checks and some of the rules they make put a lot of potential owners off wanting to deal with them. I like to take on rescue animals if I can but the hassle you have to go through sometimes does make me wonder.

Hello Munch. at least you have an RSPCA. In Denmark we don´t even have that and a slap on the wrist is better than just being told you can´t do that. They are talking about getting animal cops here and Personally I think it is high time they did. If you had seen the state of my hands on rescued greyhound Tristan you would say the same. He is allright now though wellfed clean teeth and yes he is happy and has settled in nicely with the rest of my pack.

Hi everyone hope you are all ok over there in the United States, You seem to have a better system over there than the United Kingdom for looking after your animals and punishing those that dont.
Over here if they manage to prosecute anyone for cruealty all they get is a smack on the hand and sometimes banned for a couple of years of keeping pets, but most of them get away with it.

We have been putting it on him a little at a time, so he can get used to it as time progress. He walks a little bit at a time. Though don't think he will be running in it anytime soon.

Thank you for all your kind words. I am hoping that if this goes to court that there is a place around here kind of like yours. I don't believe that the dog should pay for the owner's neglect. If there had been a way to discuss this after the firs...
