Okay ...Well um i was so proud of myself i needed to tell you guys!
So me and my dogs were out walking today and came across a dog. And well the dog was tied up on a ahh gosh i think this is how you spell it weedwacker
string you use. And so skinny he had mats and was terrified of my dogs and people. Well so i went back home and thought about it well i went back there and i petted him and he got use to me and loved me. I took him home and gave him water and food and tried my best to get the mats out so then i called animal control and 3 hours later they came and got him. I told them to call me and tell me how he is doing and call me when he got a home. Now he's in a safe, loving home. And so i felt so good about rescueing a dog i felt like a superhero! lmaoo! Tell me your stories if you have ever done something similar to what i did.
I am proud of you too. We need more people like you in this world. I'm glad someone got a wonderful dog that you gave a second life to. Good going. . . .
my old dog peanut she was a daucsund idk how to spell that but she was abused her old owners used to shut her tail in the door when they left and she was never fed so she lost almost ALL her teeth and she had a hole in her mouth where one of her teeth were and it lead up to her nose.she had a broken, shattered tail for life and a perminatly broken nose because they used to kick her.she died last year but we got her when she was 3 and she lived until she was 13 years old in dog years and she lived a happy long live and died an awesome dog with everyone remembering her and i loved her and i will NEVER forget her!

I am no hero by any standard but last year in December when I moved to a bigger place and was abel to keep two more dogs. I found this five year old greyhound for sale as his racing days were over. There was something about him that I coulden´t get out of my mind. So I called the "owner" and arranged to pick him up. The sight I saw on that ice cold winters day is something I shall never forget as long as I live this thin wraith of a tall greyhound was walking beside a portly woman she in a warm wintercoat him with nothing to protect him from the elements he was shivering sad bewildered eyes a sight I will never forget. When I saw the state he was in all I wanted to do was sheild him from the world and keep him safe from harm as for his "owner" I was soo angry for the state she let him get to that I merely paid for him and we made a transfer of ownership. When the "owner" left he diden´t even look her way. He is here now sleeping in a warm comfy dogbed with soft blankets snoozing happily He has a real name now my Tristan my new greyhound another hound of my heart. I am soo fortunate to have him. Cudos to you for saving the poor starved dog on your way . It is the best feeling in the world knowing that another soul is safe from harm.
No, this is not typical of the dogs, any dog can get brain tumors, as they get older. Pit Bulls are like any other dog. If it had human aggressions, it was because it was not treated or brought up right.

Hello All. I have been indirectly associated with FMF since early 2005. I have been friends with Nancy's children and Nancy for years, and have visited the farm myself. The animals are well cared for--they are fed properly and given the proper medic…
Any breed can be made mean. Pits start out sweet like any other dogs. You got some good advice going there, start socializing your pup now, otherwise around 7 or 8 months when Dog Aggression starts to show up, you're gonna have a hand full. My pit w…
No it's not fair, but that's the way it usually is for us pit owners. At least he isn't making you get rid of the dog as some of the pit owners around here have had to do.
As a proud Oco-Vegeterian, myself, I do not support it. The cruelty that they go through in order to put dinner on a plate is sad and disgusting. When we run out of horses, cows, sheep, hogs, etc, what will we slaughter, then? Children? Our own kind…
Horse slaughter is needed. If you own horses and are dealing with the horse industry at the moment you will understand. The horses that go to slaughter may be dangerous, lame, or horses that are so malformed from bad breeding practices that they are…
