Yet another dump job.
Once again some heartless "A" hole has dumped unwanted animals on me. This time 3 puppies. One little yellow male.and 2 girls,one black and white,and one grey and white.I found homes for the girls and I guess the boy stays with me. Breed unknown,but cute,I named him Festus! What will it take to stop this practice? And how could anyone look at this face and dump him in the country? Lets find a way to get these people and give them what they deserve.

Last time I checked, cats and dogs didn't have thumbs, nor could they communicate verbally. In addition, all they need is food, a place to pee, a place to sleep, and an occasional tummy rub. Last time I checked, humans do have thumbs, and can communicate, and their survival needs are much more complex than the average domesticated pet.
Cats and dogs are in the messes they're in because of HUMANS. Humans that don't sterilize them, humans that ignore them, humans that don't give them medical treatment, humans that treat them as belongings and not as living things.
So yes, people do (or should) care more about dogs and cats than other humans. Most humans have the physical and psychological tools to help themselves - dogs and cats (and horses, and cows, and sheep, and rabbits...) do not.

My lab has skin allergies and in his ears as well. Had him tested and it is the food that is given to him. Giving them a more natural diet helps...that is when you can afford it.
