ok guys, we once again need help in saving a bloodhound. This will be the last time we ask for help, as we are becoming more of a sanctuary than a rescue. We we're called to pick up an owner surrender. The lady said the dog was UTD on all shots, akc reg, 2 yrs old, and weighed 140lbs. We we're shocked as we NEVER get in young healthy dogs. I should have know it was too good to be true. This dog is akc reg, but that was the only truth in the story. He should weigh 140, as he;s very tall, but this dog weighs 61lbs. He has had no shots, and is HW positive. When we went to his dog pen, the ground was alive. There had to be hundreds of huge rats living in this pen. I have crawled under houses, in ditches, through brush and everything else to rescue bloodhounds, but I RAN when I seen this. Thank God my hubby was there, and brave enough to get this baby out. I cannot imagine how many times this baby was bitten by these huge rats. He had no water, no food, and no shade. These has to be the worst conditions Ive ever seen. Please, help us raise the funds for his heartworm treatments. We cannot do it alone. We get some of the most extreme cases, but this one is unbelievable.

the owners excuse was she had back surgery and couldnt get outside, and he daughter had down syndrome. makes you wonder why they got this dog in the first place. But, my main concern was getting that boy out asap!

It is insane to say that the round-ups are not working if you yourself have seen that the horses are healthy and happy out there. That is the point of the roundups. A mare can have one foal per year and each foal can begin having a foal per year at…
