Just in case anyone was planning on coming to the courthouse tomorrow. We just received a phone call from the DA's office. The time has changed for tomorrow. We will now be at the courthouse at 1:30pm in Dept. 41. There is still the possibility the trial will be postponed. Thank you.

To all of Karley's Supporters:

Well just as we expected, the trial has been postponed by the defense. The new Trial Date is January 6, 2010 at 8:30am in Dept. 62. The Judge asked the prosecutor if he is ready and he said yes, then he asked the defense if they were ready and they said no. The excuse was that the defense is in another trial awaiting the jury to return from deliberation on a case and they have not sent out subpoena's to their witnesses yet. The Judge was very upset with the defense that they had not sent out subpoenas because they new this trial date was scheduled. The judge told them twice that there will be no continuances and they need to be ready on January 6th. The reason the prosecutor did not oppose the date is because he does not want to start trial right before the Holidays. He said it would not be good for our case, our witnesses, and Jury selection. Here are the minutes from the court today:
