i would be careful i have been around some mustangs in my life and i know that the one i feed sometimes for a friens can get pretty mean. when its around feeding time she goes crazy like i know horses usually go crazy but like she kicks up a storm. not saying that all mustangs are like this. aslo i know that she can buck without bending her front legs or going down. so i would be careful like always but just be excepting anything. also if you start workning on ground work now then move up to puttin a saddle on em and ridin em then they could be great. like i said the mustang i feed is just a little crazy but she is the sweetest horse i know. im not trying to scare you im just telling you what i have experienced

Make sure you break them as soon as possible, and if their males and not already gelded...do that.
We recently had a mustang who was proud-cut, and he hadn't been worked with in awhile. By the time we got him he was not only hard-headed but he was to the point of being dangerous.
So it would be best to work with them ALOT!

They will come to respect you, in time...Just make sure you work with them.

first off, they are both gorgeous!! and for tips, just be really patient, and start really slow, and just spend lots of time with them! good luck :)

My lab has skin allergies and in his ears as well. Had him tested and it is the food that is given to him. Giving them a more natural diet helps...that is when you can afford it.
