My newest baby is Allie. she is half lab and half pitbull, but her features are distinctly pit. she knows to go outside and we let her out on a schedule but she still pees in the house! at the rate were going im going to need new carpets! also but more importantly she attacks my other baby who is 9 yrs old. she sees her limping (her joints) and goes for her legs and neck all the time. i try to be stern and pop her but it only affects her for the moment same with the peeing. i dont want to give her up cus i love her but i refuse to put my older dog through painful torture from the beast and im afraid im going to come home to a dead dog. please help with any advice at all. =(

be strict with her let her know you are the boss! shes still young be strict with the pee if she goes in the house put her nose in it and take her to the door then outside keep repeating this as long as she goes to the door youll no to take her out as for your other dog tell her no! sternly when she bites your other dog but a puppy is gonna wanna play alot! so get her excercised by walks and that should tame her down a bit! hope all goes well
putting the dogs nose in its own pee has been proven many many many times to not work unless the dog does it infront of you then you can use this method (i suggest just telling her bad and no she will get the point) other wise your just confusing her. look it up...
i have the same mix.. i had some of the same problems when my baby was a puppy... heres what worked for me... first and the BEST advice anyone can give you, get a cage for her. when you are not home put her in there and i promise you will have no problems with the bathroom thing. just make sure when you go to the pet store to pick one out its not to big or to small for your dogs size its important to have the right sized cage for there mental state... this will also help with your "coming home to a dead dog" problem if she is locked up you wont have to worry and it will give your other dog a nice break. eventually your puppy will grow out of the biting phase.. i suggest to put out alot of chew toys when your home and make sure you give the puppy lost of exercise, then most of the time she will be sleepy and it really does better there behavior. also if that doesn't help there is a "no chew" spray that i used on my coach to get my dog to stop chewing it. its all natural so i dont see why you couldnt spary it on your 9 year old then when your puppy goes to bite she will get a bad bad taste ( i have tasted it lol) and will not want to bite on the other anymore .... i hope this helps and eventually she will grow out of it...
you got some good advice going there on the pee'ing part... on your older dog, whenever she does play in a way you don't approve of, a squirt bottle, or squirt gun and the command no works well. I don't understand it, my pit loves to play in any form of water, but she hates the super soaker. LOL
