Ps The rescue groups are working with breeders at the track trainers and the greyhounds will remain at the Dairyland racetrack untill they got to their various rescuegroups they will be well cared for by staff and vets will attend them if need be. They will be fed and housed at the track some of the greyhounds will go to other tracks the numbers going to rescue is as not known as yet some greyhounds will race at other tracks the majority will go into rescues. I hope this clarifies the news of the track closure and the fate of the greyhounds there.

Dear Friends some news about the Wisconsin greyhounds. First of all the numbers were exagurated wich means that we are talking about 350-500 greyhounds needing new homes. Rescue groups are already involved and none of the greyhounds in question will be euthanised. I got this news from a friend of mine at Greyhearts in Michigan none of the greyhounds will be euthanised. Please feel free to circulate this news and know it comes from a reliabel source. most sincerly Lisbeth Mønsted Larsen Greyhound Action Denmark. Ps Wisconsin is a no kill state.

Urgent six weeks or they die! Dear friends the closure of a greyhound racing facility is one thing. The closure of this racetrack is great news. However now comes the time when we all have to show what we are made of and how manny we can get together to help find good homes for the victims of this sport namely the nine hundred greyhounds who have entertained the public for soo long now is the time they need help. If homes are not found they will be euthanised in six weeks. Let us alert all those we know and have heard of who would like to rehome a greyhound or two. I have some contacts for those who can rehome a greyhound or two or know someone who can. The person in charge of rehoming these greyhounds at the track is Joanne Kehoe. the phonenumber is 312-559-0887. Dairyland Racetrack adoption center´s direct number is 262-612-8259. Please feel to distribute this news all over the place. Most sincerly Lisbeth Mønsted Larsen Greyhound Action Denmark.

Dear Friends a reason to celebrate. Dairyland Greyhound park racetrack holds its last race on December 31. Last race on the Wisconsin track. Greyhounds are avaliabel for adoption from now on so if anyone of you have an empty spot on your sofa a new familymember could join you. This is great news for the greyhounds. Lisbeth and the lads.

No, this is not typical of the dogs, any dog can get brain tumors, as they get older. Pit Bulls are like any other dog. If it had human aggressions, it was because it was not treated or brought up right. Joe

Any breed can be made mean. Pits start out sweet like any other dogs. You got some good advice going there, start socializing your pup now, otherwise around 7 or 8 months when Dog Aggression starts to show up, you're gonna have a hand full. My pit w…

No it's not fair, but that's the way it usually is for us pit owners. At least he isn't making you get rid of the dog as some of the pit owners around here have had to do.
