Swiffer sweeper wet mopping cloths - harmful???
I have a new issue I need help with and am not sure if I should contact the vet association or if this has become general public info.
Because my home has all tile floors, I have used the sweeper wet mopping cloths (such as those made by Swiffer) for quite some time now. Recently, I heard that there has been a correlation between animal diseases (such as cancer) and this product. My cat has been suffering from a skin disorder for over one year and I took him to 3 different vets because it seemed to keep coming back and was never cured by any of them. The latest vet suggested it may be skin cancer. The cat has hair loss in different areas... mostly areas that make direct contact with the floor when he rests.
Help!? Could you please refer me to the proper person or agency to assist me????????????????
