Chat FAQ:
What’s the best way to ensure I get an answer to my question?
Post within the first hour of the discussion.

Why wasn’t my question answered?
Unfortunately, due to the volume of questions, there probably wasn’t time. Also, for the sake of time, our expert may skip a question if a similar one has already been asked. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Why is it taking so long to get an answer to my question?
Our expert is not a robot and is putting time and care into answering questions!

Why was my question deleted?
Your question was most likely irrelevant or inappropriate for the topic at hand.

Why was my discussion closed?
This is to avoid confusion. We don’t want people posting new questions in response to other questions where our expert won’t see them. To ask a question, click on “start a discussion” on the main group page. If you would like to respond to a fellow poster’s question, feel free to send them a comment or personal message.

Someone posted their question before I did and got an answer first. Why?

Our experts try to be fair and go in order, but please understand that they have the right to answer the questions they choose.

Please, everyone spread the word about this! The Sago Palm plant is very toxic to cats. Cats love to eat plants, but this plant they can't have. 75% of cats that eat the plant lose their lives. The ASPCA has a poison control number- it's (888) 426-4435 Repeat:(888)426-4435 Please, if you have one of these plants, do not let your cats eat it. If you don't have cats or these plants, just help me spread the word.

I value it too. YOu know that was when I got started on here, asking you and others about a proper diet for Delilah. I am so glad I did. You all confirmed what I ahd researched and gave me first hand experiences of the foods I was about to try. I ...

Lyssa... I gave her my suggestion. She needs to get both dogs into obedience training with her as the handler. They will train her in defining her role as alpha. I thought I made that fairly clear in my post, but I guess not. Also, it would be he...

Jada and Lyssa, "Just because they're fighting each other does not mean she isn't the alpha". I'm sorry to tell you this, but you're wrong. They have no recognizable alpha in the home and so they are battling between one another for that role. Yo...
