When you have to seize a horse or one is surrendered to you, where do those horses go for rehab? Are your shelters licensed, private, local, out of state, etc.? What is the process for deciding where those horses go after you acquire them? I operate a state licensed shelter for horses in Maine so I was wondering about your protocols.

All horses are treated and sent to various rehabilitation farms. I can not give you exact locations as some horses are involved in Cruelty cases.

Once the case runs through the courts and the horse is awarded to ASPCA, do you adopt them out or are they turned over to the various farms like in Maine?
