There are a number of stray cats in my neighborhood in the Bronx. In the past, I managed to capture one or two of the most compliant, had them vet-checked and neutered or spayed and found homes for them. But the population has increased and the current crop of cats are more feral and fearful of humans. Is there any way that the ASCPA can capture them and get them neutered or spayed so they don't continue to produce more kittens?

it is very difficult and time consuming to capture strays. ASPCA can spay/neuter them. you should contact ASPCA CARES VAN for more information.
