my dog, Brutus is a big dog and have many qustions about him. One question is, how do I get him to stop from dragging things out any the yard? the next one is, if my family have to leave for a night what do I do to keep him warm , because he drags all his bed stuff out side?

It sounds like Brutus justs wants to have fun!!! He needs some type of enrichment that will keep him busy and keep the blankets on the bed - try a treat stuffed kong. Indoors, he doesn't need bedding - he's just showing nesting, playful behavior. If Brutus spends winter nights outdoors, he does need shelter. A dog house should have an elevated floor to keep him off the cold ground, overhead cover to protect from rain and snow and sides to protect from wind. Straw or wood chips are good bedding for outdoor dog houses. Speak to your vet about training him and enhancing his daily life!
