This question was emailed to me for you from member who couldn't make it:

Is there any way to prevent snowballs from building up between dog toes? My dog Kipper loves snow, but always has to stop and dig snow out from between his toes. He refuses boots (boots become toys to chew, toss, bury, etc.) He has long hair and gets snowballs on his legs, belly, etc. The snowballs between his toes are the ones that bother him. I was wondering if there is something like ski-wax, which prevents snow build up on cross country skis, that could be applied to his furry feet. Thanks!

There are doggie "de-icers" that are sold in pet stores and on line. The ones I'd recommend sticking with are the all natural ones. The secret ingredient in vegetable oils (sunflower, etc) so it's lick safe and non toxic. They last for 30-60 minutes, so you have to reapply if you're out for a while. You can spray this on feet and under bellies. Look for "paw pro paw de-icer".

The market is flooded with products that make bold claims and then never deliver. Many of these products are perfectly marketed so that people buy them and never return them once they do not work. Paraslim Force
