I have 2 cats who started living out behind my shed 4 months ago. I have been feeding them since then. One is really friendly & lets me pet her. The other (her sis or bro) will not come near me. What can I do to protect them during the cold? It's supposed to get in the 20's tonight. Thanks.

I have an outdoor cat about the same way - except he will let me pet him when I'm feeding him. I have my old dog crate out there right now with a blanket over it and then a couple of old blankets inside and he usually crawls in there. If you have anything large enough for both of them and any old blankets around for them to curl up in that would be a great help in keeping them warm and out of the weather.

Thanks. I lured them in & shut the door earlier, but they flipped out. So I let them back outside & set up a box on its side with a towel in it. I just looked to see if they are using it, and they are.
