You may have to ask your vet to speak with your parents regarding your desire to have the dogs in the house. The great thing about nature is that each animal has evolevd to be as smart as they need to be for their environment. If you are measuring dog's intelligence using a human measure of intelligence they rank about the same as a 2-3 year old child. However, they have many more capacities that human beings that help them survive like a better sense of direction, better sense of smell etc. Human's have bred dogs to be responsive to our training so enjoy developing your dog's ability to listen to you. The you will all seem smart.!
