Is it safe for my dog Coco to drink the water out of the Christmas tree water holder thingie?

Hi Lisa- should Coco decide to take a drink out of your tree's water reservoir, we would not expect to see problems beyond gastrointestinal upset. Stagnant water can contain bacteria which could lead to vomiting and diarrhea, and if a fertilizer (applied per label) or sugar is placed in the water, stomach upset can result as well.
