If a cat accidentally chews on wrapping paper and swallows is, is this harmful?

There is nothing poisonous in wrapping paper. The big problem is if a large amount is ingested, it can cause an obstruction in the digestive tract, especially in the intestines. With that, the cat will vomit and not want to eat. Usually they need surgery to remove the blockage.
