i want to be a teacher, and if/when i make it there, i was thinking about seeing if i couldn't hold assembly's to teach the next generation of pet parents how to prevent cruelty.
do you ever do this? go around to schools and hold assembly's teachong how to prevent cruelty?

You know Vonnie, you don't have to wait to be a teacher to bring humane ed programming into you local school! You can volunteer with your local spca or animal welfare organization and learn how to bring lessons into schools. I find that intimate classroom settings work better t han assemblies, though, they are more personal and it's easier to hold the attention of 25 kids than 250 kids!
