Melissa, I saw that literally a couple of hours ago, check your profile, i just answered that this morning! I'm so glad you saw that show. I am so sorry you had to put your dog down, it's so hard, isn't it? They are truly part of the family, and it is really is losing a family member. It's important to have supportive people and family around when you have to deal with this, and I hope by sharing my story and photos with you, it provided some sense of comfort.

It did. She was 14 years old. We had to put our male 13 year old down a few months before. My then 9 year old had a very hard time. The male was on my husbands birthday and the female was on Valentine's day. He now HATES holidays.
The reason I say it was so weird is, it's Melissa (Mel) from New york, now living in Florida.

I got out of alot when my boys were born. Too much work with very little ones. We have a lot of animals again though. Took in a 1 eyed miniature horse and 2 baby sheep that their Moms died or wouldn't take care of them. Had to bottle feed.
