Hi Joanne

How can parents advocate for humane education in their children's schools?

Hi - I think the best way for parents to advocate for humane ed in their child's school is to be involved! go to PTA meetings, get to know your school's curriculum coordinators, volunteer to arrange for a humane educator to visit your child's class, the list is endless! You can offer to visit the class yourself, and talk with the kids about humane education. Good Luck~!

Hey!
I don't know much about animal welfare, but I'm eleven years old, a proud vegan and a member of various animal protection groups. My primary school has never had a visit from anyone to do with animal protection (I have tried telling them about all of the terrible things that are happening around the world, but I don't think anyone takes much notice of a kid) and I totally agree that a talk with as many classes as possible will help greatly....
