what is your favorite thing to do while you are at your work?
what is the sadist thing you had to do at ASPCA??
do you have any good advice about cat behavior at all?
i also work on mondays as a volunteer at the branford animal shelter.
we have so many different dogs and cats there. i even adopted my cat their at the branford animal shelter in 2005 because she was abandon in an emteny old house with her brothers and her mom too.
but i do love my cat very much. my cat is doing much better now since she has a better owner and a better place to live with me.
Good for you for adopting your cat from a shelter! There are so many cats in shelters, it's great when they find a forever home. My favorite thing to do at the ASPCA is work with kids and teenagers. I help them with service projects, teach them about proper pet care, and show them that they can have a career working to benefit animals. I do not work at the ASPCA's animal shelter, so I don't have daily contact with the animals who stay with us. I would say that the saddest thing I have had to do while working at the A is walking out the door without another pet. When I am at the shelter (or any shelter for that matter) it's hard to see an animal look at me with imploring eyes and not take him home with me!
Who is your favoirate person that you look up to when you are at the ASPCA?
Is anna marie lucas there at all?
Is there any advice about dealing with cat be havoirs at all?
Who do I look up to at the ASPCA? Hmm, I'd say everyone. Seriously, everyone that works here, that I know, cares about animals and the environment. From the hard work of the humane law enforcement officers keeping animals safe from abuse and neglect, to the assistants and accountants and veterinarians, everyone works very very hard to make the world a better place for animals. Yes, I know Annemarie Lucas very well, she's a nice person who has lots of animals at home!
Do you know who can try to give me some good advice about cat behavior at all?? Do you think Annemarie Lucas can try to give me some helpful tips about cats behaviors at all??
do you think annemarie lucas can give me some helpful tips on how to work with cats behavior at all? Do you know someone who can help me out with my cat? what should i do when my cat tries to bit me or likes to play with me to much?
Jessie, I'm sorry but neither Annemarie nor I are animal behaviorists, so I don't know how much advice we could provide to you. http://www.aspca.org/site/PageServer?pagename=pro_behavior
This is a link to our animal behavior section of the aspca website, try looking there for the answers you seek, Good luck!
Jessie, I don't think there is a discussion planned for tomorrow from a behaviorist, but we do have them once in a while. Keep checking the ASPCA community to see when one is scheduled for next. If you have a really important issue, can you ask someone at the shelter you volunteer for? I'm sure they have some cat experts there, otherwise a call to your veterinarian may be in order. I'm sorry I couldnt' be more helpful to you,
Oh no don't be sorry. You are a great person to me. Because i try to watch the ASPCA show from my t.v. as much as i can. I think that they really do a great job on there work. Please tell Annemarie lucas that i had said hello for me and keep up the great work that she does ok.
Can you and i try to keep in touch together please?
I can give you my address on where i live so you and i can try to write letters together.
Is that ok with you??

That isn't fair at all.... in my tiny town of 300 people they tried to make strict laws on how you must restrain a pit.. we own two.. the law said you must keep them on a 3 foot long chain, not a rope, when they were off your property (no leash law…
