My cousin found a cat. It's bleeding out of it's nose. I called our humane society and they pretty much didn't have anything to say or to help with the situation. I'm sorry but in my opinion they could've been more helpful.. I think Pa needs a aspca around our area. For the simple fact there are so many animals being neglected in our area and no one wants to do anything about it.. Is there anyone who can help me

Dana, your cousin needs to bring the cat to a vet immediately. Bleeding is an emergency. I'm sure your local humane society advised you the same.

There is only one ASPCA and it's in NYC. Its shelter would advise you to take the cat to a vet or take it to the city shelter to surrender it if you didn't take it to a vet. So I hope you can get your cousin to take the cat to a vet.

here's the thing she is only 16 and I'm disabled and my vet basically told me to call the humane society the only way my vet will do anything is if I keep the cat and the money is not there

Will her parents foot the bill for the vet? If not, and you can't afford to take ownership, it is better to bring the cat to a shelter or pound where it can be humanely euthanized. If the cat is bleeding from the nose and you cannot help it, then it is up to you or your cousin or her parents to relieve its suffering. Please don't think I'm being cruel. I'm only thinking of the cat.
