Patti,
How many of the pack will you take along? What do you drive that will accomodate I'm thinking at the very least 3 very large fuzzy kids?

Hi Patti!
No traveling for me yet. Actually with the heat and humidity all we have to do is step out the back door and it feels like we are in the jungle! :) I am more than happy to have the links to Rescue Train and Therapy Dogs (now that I know how to put them in).

Where in Montana is your brother? I've driven to Glacier National Park and stayed there for a week. It was incredible! The Northern Rockies are just breath-taking! That was quite some time ago and I didn't even have Patrick yet.

Just checkin' in! Thanks for the link to the Rescue Train and to Pauls Therapy Dogs. Is anybody travelin'. Sure wish I was. I am thinking of taking the hounds to Montana before the summer is over to visit my brother for a few days. LOL. I told him I'd be bringing the dogs, but he has NO IDEA how many......

Hi Lex! Thanks for joining and the tip about lazy dog inn. I've always wanted to visit the NE in the fall. They say the leaves are amazing beyond words. And to be able to do that with the boys would be even more wonderful!

I would like to add that the Lazy Dog Inn in NH is WONDERFUL. Lex and I go there every year. They completly cater towards your dog 100%. And about 15 min down the road, Kangamangas Hwy, there are hundreds of hiking trails. I highly reccomend them... www.lazydoginn.com

Mandy,
Sounds like you all had a great time!

Patrick used to love going to my grandma's house way down in Southwestern Missouri. There are little rivers and fresh water springs everywhere and he absolutely loved swimming in them! Once there were some younger kids jumping from the bank into a fairly deep swimming hole and everytime one would jump in P would swim to them to make sure they were ok! lol
Grandma passed a couple of years ago so we don't go down there anymore but they were good times while we had them.

And I also learned that the Frontline flea and tick liquid works fantastic because that is a seriously tick infested area and he never got one on/in him!

Wendy,

You are most welcome and thanks for the words of encouragement. I will probably drive to Atlanta to pick up Lenny and bring him back to the rescue here on Tues. I'll post some photos when I get back.

Best to P&T,

Paul & Jake
