For those that need help in transporting an animal to their forever home, to another shelter and rescuer. In addition, we also need volunteers to help transport animals.

PLEASE NOTE ANY Animal going to a Forever Home MUST be spayed/neutered BEFORE transport!
ANY Transports posted to this board MUST HAVE HEALTH CERTS (ie: Letter of Veterinary Inspection, Certificate Of Veterinary Inspection) AND RABIES CERTIFICATE.
DRIVERS Remember if you transport without Health Certs and Rabies Certs you CAN be fined if DEPT of AG pull you over and ALL animals can be confiscated. So OPEN the documents and protect yourself make sure the paperwork is there for EACH animal do not assume it is.
Did you know you can use the miles or a reciept of gas used in transporting as part of charity donations? So, keep the run sheet to prove this to the IRS if you have too.

Setting up your own transporting coordination: Here is an example how to do a run sheet and coordinate a transport. Even though this says for a cat you can do the same for the dog.
