MURDER IN MIAMI!!!!!

http://wn.wsvn.com/global/video/flash/popupplayer.asp?clipId1=4019421&flvUri=http://pserver.mii.instacontent.net/wsvn//wsvn_200908052..

Dear Members,

We regret to inform you that the dog involved in the so-called "vicious attack" on the mail carrier, has been put down. The dog was put to sleep an hour after the incident occurred, without a chance to survive. Although we immediately contacted the News Station, Miami Dade Animal Services and the Mayor's office, our request fell on deaf ears. Our director, Dahlia Canes, even went down to Animal Services to rescue this animal from death, but it was too late. Why weren't these same actions taken on the dog that previously attacked this mail carrier just 11 houses down? This is just another situation where the breed of dog determines the resolution to the problem. We are saddened and upset over this news. There was no investigation before the dog was sentenced to death, or a chance for the owner to really say goodbye the way he deserved to. What the media and others don't realize is that an animal does not react in fear or aggression without a reason. There is a cause to every action and none of this was considered today. What was the outcome of the quick decision to euthanize this animal? There was no reason to immediately take this dog's life. All that this accomplished was a family left devastated because of the loss of their dog. Imagine what it would feel like to be in that owners shoes. I hope that the public uses rationality and realizes the real TRUTH behind this situation. It could have been any dog that reacted this way, even the "next door neighbor's golden retriever." This is just another dramatized incident that the media can use as bait to point the finger at the breed of a dog, rather than the reasons for it's actions.

Please be advised that the letter written by our organization uncovering the TRUTH behind this so-called attack, will be aired on Channel 7 News at 10:00PM and Telemundo (Channel 51) at 11:00PM. It's important that the public understands that this was not an act of "aggression" or "viciousness" but rather an animal reacting out of fear. The real cruelty lies behind the actions of authorities to put this animal to sleep just an hour after the incident occurred.

May this canine rest at ease and may his family find peace after all the anguish.

My twelve year dog (German Shep/Lab mix) broke, rather shattered his hind leg. From an X-ray his vet diagnosed bone cancer. Upon insisting for a biopsy, they did a biospy and the biopsy results were negative for cancer. The break is around his akle.…
